Diana Garland studied art at "The Art Center" in Los Angeles.
After her graduation from Marlborough School for Girls, she studied Fashion Design and Illustration in New York City.
After moving to Sequim 23 years ago from Menlo Park, California, she created one-of-a-kind pine needle baskets for eight years. Her baskets were in Frederick & Nelson's department store for four years in the Northwest Arts section.
After developing carpal tunnel syndrome, she began designing necklaces and earrings using sterling silver, beads and semi-precious bead.
Diana has been a member of the Sequim Open Aire Market for eight years.
