Bonsai are small trees grown in pots to reflect the natural beauty of trees in nature.
I collect dwarf specimens of trees and plants - prune them, wire them, pot them and give them the look and feel of "Bonsai".
I have many that are very old and beautiful- but also many more affordable plants that are younger and not quite as polished.
Bonsai is an art form - a very unusual one, because the art is alive, in many cases long outliving its owner.
In Japan, they are passed down generation to generation, many almost priceless masterpieces.
But Bonsai can also be done with young, beautiful plants expressing beauty, simplicity and nature.
I started (as a hobby) in about 1995 and now have a very large collection.
