We are pleased to have been part of the Sequim Open Aire Market since moving to Sequim in 2002. Because the market supports the sale of quality handcrafted and homegrown local products we are happy for the opportunity to support our community as market sponsors since 2004.
We lived in northern Illinois until starting married life in Wisconsin and in the '60s moved to Washington to pursue careers in engineering and nursing and to raise our two wonderful children. With the children grown and moved to California and Canada, we retired in 1998 and planned to golf and explore the world's interesting places. We also enrolled in a few art classes and found printmaking a fascinating, creative and enjoyable art form. Soon we were involved in art organizations and displaying our art in shows and competitions, galleries, studio tours, charity events, markets, the fair, local shops and eateries. It has been a very nice entry into our new home and community on the Olympic Peninsula.
